Hey there long time no hear...I found the movie for your wife, Imitation Of Life, but it is the 1934 version with Claudette Colbert. When I find the Lana Turner version, I will be sure to post that for you as well...so here you go enjoy. I am gonna check this one out as well, never saw it, its a bit different from the 1959 version, I scanned thru it a bit.

Welcome back!! Hope all is well....let me know what you think of the movie. If you have seen any other versions, this is a little different....the story line is different from the 1959 version, which IMHO is better.

Thanks to you both again, but Dox, this one is out of sync as well. I am going to try to force it to sync with Cucusoft, and see if that works.

Thanks guys. I've yet to watch the 1934 version but I may give it a pass now that the '59 is available and Uneekone says it's the good one.

Unfortunately we hardly get time to watch movies together as the youngsters take up so much time but I'm not complaining. My kids are both healthy and that's what counts.

@ Uneekone, have you ever tried using AVI-Mux to fix OOS vids? It's so easy and fast you literally do a syncfix in less than a minute. Give it a try and if you're not sure about operation drop me a PM.

Rocky, I read this post after replying to you in Cloverfield

I wish I would have seen this post before deleting the darn movie (I even burned it for the second time to DVD). I will re d/l it and see if I can't do the sync fix again with your program recommendation, THANK YOU! I will PM you if I need your help (thanks for the offer) big hugs to you for this! This is actually a very good classic and one of my favs! BTW, Get the wife a big box of Kleenex for this one.

I'm downloading this one at the moment and I hope we can watch it tonight. I'll remember to keep the Kleenex close, but she's a tough cookie, I've yet to see her cry over a movie

btw shall I skip the '34 version or do you recommend watching it?
